The second full-length album entitled ‘leam’ by sub-tle. out on 11.09.2013.
Satoshi Okamoto a.k.a sub-tle., the Berlin sound artist, right hand man of the late Klaus Dinger, is to release his second album entitled leam – his first for five years.

sub-tle. participated on Klaus’ posthumous work japandorf released April 2013, and in some ways this album continues and further explores themes developed in that process, culminating in an album which displays the depth of Satoshi’s talent and showcasing the skills of the wonderful range of his collaborators.

All tracks were produced by Andi Toma (Mouse on Mars) with guest vocals by Kazumi Nikaido (P-Vine) and Kyoka (onpa/Raster Noton).
Acoustic and organic, live and electronic sound take us into a world of subtle, delicate and beautiful melody bringing a desolate feeling that lingers…

The opening track of the album: æ features Kyoka’s innocently floating voice. Kazumi’s vocals appears on track 6 realease and track 9 part two – which sounds like a gentle breeze with a phantasmagoric tone. Track 7: mind state of is reminiscent of Conny Plank’s Neue Deutsche Welle works, a feel that extends across 12 tracks on the album.

Andi’s production shows how he has sublimated his life long avant-garde style into the work – which could be seen as masterpiece to stand alongside Elpmas, his work with Moondog.

Also appearing alongside Satoshi Okamoto is contemporary classical music ensemble, Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop from Berlin, renowned conductor André de Ridder on violin, and Tony Cousins, mastering engineer for David Sylvian, Massive Attack, Peter Gabriel, Adele etc.

The second album entitled leam is released by the sound&media art curators team onpa. The first album reached No.1 on the ZIP-FM (Nagoya/Japan), FM NORTHWAVE (Sapporo/Japan) and SHIBUYA FM (Tokyo/Japan) charts.

２０１３年９月１１日世界リリース。『leam』by サヴトレ（sub-tle.）
故クラウス・ディンガー（ex. クラフトワーク／ラ・デュッセルドルフ）の右腕の一人だったベルリン在住のサウンドアーティスト、オカモトサトシのソロプロジェクト、サヴトレ（sub- tle.）が、なんと５年ぶりにセカンドアルバムをリリース。

今年４月にリリースされたクラウス・ディンガーの遺作プロジェクト『japandorf』にも参加したサヴトレ。話題の絶えない中、今回のアルバムはそのとどめを刺す布陣で製作された。

プロデュースにマウス・オン・マーズのアンディ・トーマ。ゲストボイスとして、二階堂和美、そしてkyokaも参加。アコースティックな生音と電子音が、幽玄で美麗な旋律を生み出し、底の見えぬ寂寥を覚える楽曲群。
kyokaの無邪気に浮遊する声を活かしたオープニング曲『æ』。二階堂和美の風のような優しくも変幻自在なボイスが特徴の６曲目『realease』や９曲目『part two』。

ヨーロッパのニュー・ウェイヴの祖、コニー・プランクによるノイエ・ドイチェ・ヴェレのムーブメントを彷彿とさせる７曲目『mind state of』など収録の全１２曲。

アンディ・トーマのプロデュースワークは、長年のアヴァンギャルド性を昇華し、ついでにムーンドッグとの共作『Elpmas』 とも肩を並べる大傑作だと形容すると罰が当たるだろうか。また、ベルリン発で世界を股にかける現代音楽アンサンブル 「Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop」や、現代音楽で人気の指揮者André de Ridderのヴァイオリン演奏、そしてデヴィッド・シルビアンの最新作や、マッシヴ・アタックの名作、ピーターガブリエルやAdeleなどを手がけたマスタリングのTony Cousinsもオカモトサトシをサポート。

日本ではZIP-FM, FM NORTH WAVE, SHIBUYA FMで軒並みカレッジチャートの１位を獲得したファースト『pre_mary』と同様、このセカンドアルバム『leam』は、ベルリン美術界で活躍する アート・キュレイターズ・ビューロー、onpaからリリース。
